My name is Christel Heremans, born and raised in Belgium, currently living in The Netherlands.
My ideal world is full of freedom, respect, warmth and colour; where we inspire each other, experience beauty and share it.
With my abstract expressionist oil paintings I contribute to a more colourful and warm daily life. Behind every abstraction hides a story from a faraway country or a moment of extreme beauty closer to home. I hope that my work makes people happy, inspires them and allows them to let their own imagination run free.
And when I am no longer around, my work continues to speak for itself, bringing colour into other people's lives.
